Description

The Deer Trail Route mirrors one of Northern Ontario's greatest driving tours - bringing riders north of Elliot Lake into some of the most rugged and natural areas that a snowmobile and, more specifically, a groomer can go.  The ride ventures north of Elliot Lake on TOP F until it meets TOP D106 and continues to TOP D for a return to Elliot Lake.  Easily one of the most scenic riding experiences in the Province, this is an adventure for the wilderness lover or for those that want to taste wilderness but get back to town quickly.  The trails follow extremely rugged terrain north of Elliot lake, a wide open road bed to Aubrey Falls, the Mississaugi and White River edge along D106 and through various trails and towns along the North Shore of Lake Huron.

Great Picture Stops

  • Boland Hill on TOP F North of Elliot Lake
  • Following the Mississaugi River
  • Deer yards in Iron Bridge
  • Various vistas of Lake Huron - especially near Spragge
